Chef Emily Yuen previews her creative Japanese American dishes for her new upcoming restaurant for two nights - October 15 + October 16!

C﻿ome join us for two nights @ OStudio for Chef Emily Yuen's sneak preview of dishes for her upcoming new restaurant Lingo (@lingobk) opening soon at 27 Greenpoint Ave. in Brooklyn, NY. Desserts will be provided by Pastry Chef Gizelle Pare. <ul><li>Two nights with two seatings each @ 6pm and 8:30PM on Saturday, 10/15/22 and Sunday, 10/16/22. </li><li>Ticket prices include only food (set menu only) AND gratuity. </li><li>Alcohol available for purchase separately on-site (provided by Ostudio). </li></ul>About Chef Emily Yuen &amp; Pastry Chef Gizelle Pare:Emily Yuen is from Vancouver Canada where she was raised with an appreciation for locally sourced ingredients and a love for Asian food. After working for several years at restaurants in Vancouver, she began traveling the world working for multiple Michelin Star restaurants including London’s Iconic Le Gavroche, and acclaimed chefs like Daniel Boulud. After working in Australia and Singapore, Emily was ready for her next challenge and moved to the food capital of the world: New York City. It was during a stint at Kajitsu, a Michelin star Japanese Restaurant that Emily fell in love with Japanese cuisine. In 2016, this love ultimately led to her opening and becoming the Executive Chef at Bessou, a small restaurant in Noho serving Japanese comfort food. During the pandemic, she then decided to start a family and left Bessou in 2021. Set to open in late ‘22, Emily will be launching Lingo, a creative Japanese American concept. Dishes like Persimmon Burrata Caprese, Little Neck Clam in Miso Brodo and a Honey butter potato chip soft serve are indications of Emily's goal to combine familiar flavors in an untraditional way. Emily will be joined by Vancouver native Pastry Chef Gizelle Pare. Achieving an impressive resume in a short time, Gizelle has worked alongside renowned chefs at some of the most established pâtisseries, restaurants and chocolate shops in the world including Thierry in her hometown Vancouver, Neil Perry in Melbourne, and more recently, at Row Fourteen in Cawston, BC where she has spent the last two summers as resident Pastry Chef. Gizelle is looking forward to adding her innovative ideas and fresh perspective to elevate Lingo’s menu.Some of the dishes to expect:
