The NoMa BID's annual family-friendly PumpkinPalooza is back!

<h3><strong>Calling all ghouls and goblins– PumpkinPalooza is back</strong>! Join us on Thursday, October 27th starting at 4 p.m. at Alethia Tanner Park for delicious food, music from <a href="https://www.instagram.com/toomuchtalentband/?hl=en" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Too Much Talent Band</a>, a seasonal scavenger hunt, our “pick-your-own” pumpkin patch, and our annual screening of Hocus Pocus (beginning at 6:45pm)! We will also be bringing back our ever-popular costume contest, with amazing prizes provided by <a href="https://www.dcboulderingproject.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">The DC Bouldering Project </a>and we will welcome back award-winning children&#x27;s entertainer, <a href="https://thegreatzucchini.com/?gclid=CjwKCAjwy7CKBhBMEiwA0Eb7asq_ZxXB1sAX6S8kOmRWz-qZQ5A_9vcB1SmG6HnJWenUG19wiIM7IhoCSn0QAvD_BwE" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">The Great Zucchini</a></h3><h3><strong>This year&#x27;s event will feature the </strong><a href="https://www.redbear.beer/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"><strong>Red Bear Brewing Co</strong></a><strong>. beer garden </strong><a href="https://www.redbear.beer/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"></a><strong> </strong>(21+ only, no exceptions)! Defiance Cidery</a><strong> (</strong><em>no cash accepted, credit/debit only</em><strong>). Beer Garden (21+)</em></h3><h3><strong><em>-﻿-----------------------------</em></strong></h3><h3><strong> Important things to note:</strong></h3><ul><ul><li><strong>P﻿re-registered pumpkins are officially sold out!</strong> There will be a limited amount of day-of pumpkins, on a first come-first serve basis. All unclaimed pumpkins will be made available to any and all attendees at 6:45pm. </li></ul><ul><li>I﻿f you want to participate in the <strong>costume contest,</strong> you must come to the BID tent at 5:00pm, and participate in the costume parade, at which point the judges will assess all costumes. To receive a prize, if chosen, you must be physically present at the event at 6:15pm , when winners will be announced!</li></ul><ul><li>Parents, please ensure your children are supervised at all times. The Metropolitan Branch Trail runs alongside the park and is frequented by bicycles and scooters.</li></ul><ul><li>Dogs are more than welcome, but they <strong>must</strong> be on a leash. There is also a separate dog park at Alethia Tanner Park where your dog can play off leash!</li></ul><ul><li>In case of inclement weather, the event will take place on Friday, October 28th from 4pm-9pm. Certain elements of the event may not occur on the rain date. </li></ul><ul><li> If your family needs more than one pumpkin, please be sure to register for multiple tickets. A limit of <strong>three pumpkins per family</strong> will be imposed until  we release all unclaimed pumpkins at 6:30pm. </li></ul><ul><li>All reserved pumpkins will be held until 6:45 PM. Reserved pumpkins that are not claimed by this time will be released to other guests. </li></ul></ul><p><strong>We look forward to seeing you on October 27th!!</strong></p>
