Student Leader Fellowship Program students at NMU are raising funds for Families Against Narcotics through a Masquerade Ball.

T﻿hree students from Northern Michigan University&#x27;s Student Leader Fellowship Program are dedicating their 100-hour volunteer internship to raising funds for the new nonprofit chapter of Families Against Narcotics (FAN) in Marquette County. &quot;﻿ FAN’s mission is to offer community-based, compassionate, best-practice/evidence-based services to people who have been affected by addiction—this includes individuals with substance use disorders and their families—and to erase the stigma of addiction while instilling compassion and hope.&quot;A﻿s part of their fundraising activities, they will be throwing a Masquerade Ball fundraising event on December 7, 2022, in Ballrooms III and VI at the Northern Center. P﻿articipants are asked to dress their BEST- this is a BALL after all! Gowns, suits, prom dresses, tuxes...and don&#x27;t forget a mask! We will have some masks available to hand out.
