<h1>Co-Create The Future of </h1><h1>NW Permaculture Community</h1>What: Our organizational camp out is a volunteer-run gathering to invite in new like minded, like hearted co-creators for the future of NW Permaculture. Plan, Play and Relax with us! Make friends, dance and share music together. The work and service is to plan next season, build connections and self-awareness as community of NW Permaculture and ally organizations. Build community and become an ally, vote roles and co-lead. In a disaster situation, there is unique opportunity to go almost directly from emergency care to building out living in a permaculture society. Where. Shaelee&#x27;s small farm, Goodness Tea, in Sequim, WA. (Yes we saved the farm!) Address provided on registration. Be prepared for camping. Meetings will be outsides and in limited indoors space (like a wood-stove heated yurt, under a sail awnings, in the woods.) It will be generally unheated. Bring camp chairs and please prepare for weather. You can join in-person or from the comfort of home on-line (Zoom).Cost: free to attend, and you can buy an optional meal ticket and donations accepted Limited parking near and camping on the farm is $25 (12 spots). There is free unlimited parking along Kane Lane. Additional parking along River Rd (hike in 10 min to the farm). This (limited to 50) registration is open until Oct 12th or until we reach 50 attendees. Everyone who wants to be sent info must register (its free), even helpers and Zoomers so we can know how many to care for and communicate details and changes with you.Food. Meal Ticket is optional. If you want to pay cash on site at checkin its either $5/meal or better yet, $25 for all meals (2 breakfasts, 2 dinners, soup for 3 lunches) which will save us fees. Alternatively, you can pay for meals by donating food and helping to cook/clean by contacting our Food Coordinator - text or call Julie 360-471-1878. We will provide community prepared Breakfast and Dinner and lunch is on your own, except for soup if we have enough help. Bring dishes. Wash your own station provided. We need help building compost toilets, and outdoor kitchen and shower, setup awnings, chop and stack fire wood, make meals, setup check in. and we need your visions and enthusiasm to make our future more regenerative and our organization more sustainable. Its time to build a network and plan for food security, even in emergencies. Permaculture fans and designers new and old are invited to circle discussions on scenario planning for resilience in emergencies, build a food security network, village building, land regeneration and explore the future of NW Permaculture community collaborations into 2023 and into our ever-adapting future. Sunday we will ask for help going into 2023 and the future with a new more sustainable organizational structure. Come co-lead with us. Weather. Be prepared for some rain, possible Sat. Nights in 40s, days in 50s to low 60s. Its a slightly more robust than primitive camping situation for a weekend. We have primarily semi-covered outdoor spaces for gathering, fire pits, a co-created breakfast and dinner covered eating area. If you can and want, bring warm, dry space creating stuff for self and to share (tarps, tents, canopies, propane heaters, camp stoves for hot drinks, etc).
