Braatz is the Edwin R. Gilliland Professor of Chemical Engineering at MIT, where he conducts research into advanced biopharmaceutical manufacturing systems. In this role, he leads the data analytics/machine learning, mechanistic modeling, and control systems for several projects on campus, including those focused on monoclonal antibody, vaccine, and gene therapy manufacturing. Dr. Braatz has collaborated with more than 20 companies and is a member of the U.S. National Academy of Engineering.George Barbastathis, PhD: Professor Barbastathis is a Professor of Mechanical Engineering and a Singapore Research Professor of Optics. His research focuses on developing novel optical systems, as well as machine learning (ML) approaches for optically challenging situations, such as low-photon condition and limited angle tomography. He obtained his MS and PhD degrees in Electrical Engineering from the California Institute of Technology. Chris Mitchell, MSci: Chris Mitchell is a Senior Scientist and Synthetic Innovation Lead at Takeda, responsible for industrializing enabling and emerging manufacturing technologies such as flow chemistry, continuous manufacturing, and biocatalysis, among others. Prior, he served as a Process Chemist at Astra Zeneca. He obtained both his BA and MSci from the University of Cambridge.Duane Boning, PhD: Professor Boning is a Professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science in the EECS Department and the Associate Director for Computation and CAD at MIT’s Microsystems Technology Laboratories (MTL). His research interests include the modeling and control of variation in IC, photonics, and MEMS processes and devices. Dr. Boning received his S.B., S.M. and PhD degrees in electrical engineering all from MIT.Marc Engeler: Currently working as a Digital Innovation Lead within the Takeda Data, Digital &amp; Technology organization, Marc has over 6 years of experience in Data Science, Computer Vision and Robotics. At Takeda he has been working with Manufacturing Data as a Data Scientist, before joining the MIT project and focusing more on Computer Vision in the Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Area.Harini Narayanan, PhD: Dr. Narayanan is a postdoctoral associate with Prof. Christopher Love&#x27;s research group at MIT, where she focuses on the application of artificial intelligence/machine learning to various aspects of biomanufacturing. She received her B.Tech degree in Chemical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Tiruchirapalli, India, followed by her masters (M.Sc) and doctorate in Chemical and Bioengineering from ETH Zurich, Switzerland.Cyrus Shaoul, PhD: Dr. Shaoul is founder and CEO of Leela.AI, which provides a no-code machine vision solution for enterprises that can increase efficiency by performing automatic work analyses, reduce costs by enabling remote auditing of operations, and improve quality and safety by tracking adherence to standard operating procedures. Prior, Dr. Shaoul was co-founder and CTO of Digital Garage, which he led from a start-up to a successful IPO. He obtained his BSc. in Brain and Cognitive Science from MIT and his PhD in Cognitive Psychology from the University of Alberta.Dale Thomas, PhD: Dr. Thomas is a co-founder of Mytide Therapeutics, where he leads a cross-disciplinary team of scientists, and engineers to overcome bottlenecks in peptide synthesis. Dr. Thomas earned his PhD and MEngM at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and his BS at the Maine Maritime Academy. Mytide Therapeutics combines fully automated peptide manufacturing technology with predictive analytics and machine learning to enable cost-efficient research and development, therapeutic manufacturing, and discovery. Raja Srinivas, PhD: Dr. Srinivas is a co-founder of Asimov, which develops mammalian cell engineering platforms to advance the design and manufacture of biologics and gene therapies though computer-aided design, multi-ohmics measurement, and machine learning. Dr. Srinivas obtained his PhD from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and his BS from John Hopkin&#x27;s University.
