Fall Flower U-Pick at Calhoun Flower Farms

We are sisters Susannah and Lillian Calhoun, and along with our mother Diane Bigbee Calhoun, we grow cut flowers in southern Dona Ana County.Thanks to our extended growing season and diverse plantings, we grow a variety of incredibly beautiful, seasonal flowers and foliage that can be picked at the farm (see our many "u-picks") and found in local grocery stores/cafes and florists' shops.

Get ready for Fall Flower U-Pick ! This will be one of our last events in our Blooming season, come and enjoy the farm. Pick seasonal flowers like Sunflowers and Cosmos!Purchase a ticket today, then on Saturday, October 15th, check in at the farm beginning at 8:30 am to receive your vessel. Vessel options are a Calhoun Flower Farms mason jar or cantarito. Walk up and down the rows of our seasonal blooms, picking your flowers to fill up your vessel. Stroll and enjoy what is going to be a beautiful Autumn morning on the farm - 70s and sunny. Arrive as early as 8:30 am for first picks, and leave by 10:00 am to go tend your flowers for a happy tabletop arrangement. Pro tip: bring your gloves, sunscreen, and water. And don&#x27;t forget your camera for a special kodak moment! We&#x27;ll lend you clippers.A few notes about this event and your visit to our farm:<ul><li>W﻿e are a FARM! We know, that sounds obvious, yet we want your visit to be as wonderful as possible! You will be walking on uneven surfaces, there may be muddy sections, too (even in the desert) and some stickers - so please wear comfortable sturdy footwear. </li></ul><ul><li>Keep in mind that we are a working farm and a healthy farm means an abundance of insect life. There will be pollinators, gnats, and mosquitos after the glorious rain we&#x27;ve been experiencing lately! We&#x27;ll provide bug spray but we invite you to bring your own if there are particular scents or ingredients you prefer.</li></ul><ul><li>Please read your EMAIL confirmation! That is the ONLY place our address will be published!</li></ul>Each order gets you 1 mason jar or cantarito (with the option for additional vessels) and access to rows of flowers to pick as many as will fit in the vessel(s). You can share a vessel with your whole group or get multiples for your group or for yourself to fill your home with gorgeous fall colors!
