Seeding Intention: MBI presents Morning Meditation at Urban Farm FermentorySaturdays at 10:30a; September 17 | October 1$20 in advance or at the door; includes kombucha or jun post-classAll ages welcome to register and attend; an ID is required for the purchase and consumption of kombucha.About Seeding Intention: As an ancient technique rooted in Eastern culture and religion, meditation serves as a powerful tool for restoring balance to the mind, body, and nervous system. Seeding Intention is an integrative, 60-minute guided class that offers relaxation and contemplative practices drawn from both Eastern philosophy and modern evidence-based techniques. This blend allows meditators to explore the specific benefits for the individual mind and body.Seeding Intention embraces an open, curious, and nuanced “whole-person” approach to health and wellness within a supportive, inclusive community environment. During class, participants can anticipate guidance in aligning and stilling the mind and body individually and collectively through practices including honoring gratitude, attentive body scans, breathwork, and visualization. Individuals are empowered to choose their level of participation and engagement from the personal choice of support and positioning. There will be opportunities for one-on-one inquiry or a follow-up group discussion. We are all beginners and learners. No prior experience in meditation and contemplative practices is necessary to thrive in this class.Suggested items to bring:<ul><li>Any preferred cushions, mats, pillows, comfortable clothing layers, and/or support tools (i.e., crystals, journal/pen, prayer beads, essential oils, etc.). </li><li>A water bottle or canteen; water is available at the venue. </li><li>Questions, requests, and curiosities!</li></ul>About MBI:Mind-Body Integration (MBI) blends evidence-based techniques with Eastern philosophies to deliver integrative and preventative approaches to health. Each meditation class is unique and crafted to instruct on the use of complementary practices to optimize wellness and individual potential. MBI classes and offerings embody the following three pillars: <ul><li>Educate the client on preventative and integrative approaches to health.</li><li>Provide evidence-based complementary practices to optimize health outcomes and individual potential.</li><li>Support the growth and development of the physical, mental, and spiritual bodies.</li></ul>Lacey Raymond is the founder and creator of Mind-Body Integration (MBI), a preventative health advocacy engagement platform that bridges Eastern and Western approaches to balanced health and wellness. An attentive, nuanced instructor, Raymond calls on her blended experiences and training in clinical neuropsychology, behavioral healthcare, holistic health coaching, and Eastern philosophies and practices to offer unique, mindful, and inclusive sessions. Through the legacy and lineage of her grandmother, Reverend Barbara Szafranski, Raymond also explored and deepened her innate intuitive abilities for meditation and mediumship, and is attuned as a Level II Reiki practitioner. Raymond believes deeply in intentional, inspired action and through MBI, she is creating supportive networks and affordable, accessible opportunities for individual and community health education.
