Arts Every Day is joining forces with our partner, No Boundaries Coalition, to expand our Board of School Commissioners Candidate Forum to include a voter education workshop. The November 8th General Election is approaching quickly and this event can help you know-before-you-go to the ballot box. Join us for dinner and an expanded event schedule:<h3>October 11, 5-8PM at Baltimore Unity Hall</h3>5-6 PM: Board of School Commissioners Candidate Forum <ul><li>Hosted by Kadijah Hart and Ysem Brown</li></ul><ul><li>Panel Moderator, Kenneth Morrison, Black Arts District</li></ul>6-6:30 PM: Dinner 6:30-8PM: No Boundaries Coalition Voter Education Workshop<ul><li>Voter Eligibility &amp; Laws</li></ul><ul><li>Sample Ballot Questions</li></ul><ul><li>Black Girls Vote &amp; League of Women Voters</li></ul>Voter registration table will be open throughout the event! <h3>About the Board of School Commissioners Election</h3>For the first time in Baltimore City’s history, voters will elect 2 Commissioners to the Baltimore City Public School Board <a href="https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Legislation/Details/hb0558?ys=2016RS&amp;search=True" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">expanding from 10 to 12 seats</a>, with the two additional seats being elected rather than appointed.
