Join <a href="https://www.instagram.com/fangirlcafe_/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Fan Girl Cafe</a> and friends for Fan O’ Ween, as we take over the beautiful <a href="https://lalgbtcenter.org/about-the-center/facilities#the-village-at-ed-gould-plaza" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Village Courtyard</a> at the <a href="https://www.instagram.com/lalgbtcenter/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"> Los Angeles LGBT Center</a> for a spooky, fun night of 80’s vs 90’s inspired costume party fun. Hosted by Insomniac radio and Babes Behind the Beats host DJ Bowie Jane. HOSTED BAR included with every ticket. Yes you read that right, OPEN BAR all night, Yay! (but please take care of your bartenders)Dancing, comedy, costume contest. Costume prize categories include:<ul><li>Best 80’s inspired costume. </li><li>Best 90’s inspired costume. </li><li>Best couple or group costume. </li><li>Scariest costume.</li></ul>(We highly encourage everyone to dress in the 80s/90s theme but all costumes are welcome! Get creative- think icons, famous couples, pop culture, horror movie characters, etc from those eras) We will begin the night with a fun karaoke competition “Fan Girls’ Got Talent” with special guest judges Scout Durwood, Shiragirl and The Puterbaugh sisters, who will playfully critique performances. *Sign up sheet to participate will be available at doors. For the contest, please be prepared to choose a song from the 80s or 90s. * Candy and light snacks will be available. We will have Fan Girl merch for sale and community vendors including Gritty In Pink , DIY Design Party and Queer 26.
