A pay-what-you-can event for couples.A magical blend of FUSION DANCING and AUTHENTIC RELATING GAMES, this is not your typical dance class. No dance experience is necessary, but seasoned dancers are welcomed.This experiential workshop is a 4-week series designed to enrich the relational bonds between romantic partners through playfulness and presence. We explore concepts like attunement, connection, communication, consent, boundaries, requests, and trust. The dancing we do is basic Blues/Fusion and focused more on improvisation via attunement and connection than learning standardized patterns, like in many partner dances. My intention is to concentrate more on concepts than steps so that dancers of any style/skill level might learn something that will enhance what they already know about dancing. I designed this series because these kind of practices led me to a whole and beautiful life. My hope is I can pay that forward. I&#x27;ve been teaching 20+ styles of partner dance for 10 years and am certified by Dance Vision International. I&#x27;m also a trained Authentic Relating facilitator and graduate student in expressive arts therapy. While these sessions are designed to have therapeutic value, *I am not a licensed therapist.Full Series10/27 - Week 1 - Attunement11/3 - Week 2 - Connection and Communication11/10 - Week 3 - Boundaries, Consent, and Making Requests11/17 - Week 4 - Integration + TrustPlease do not let finances be an obstacle for your attendance.
