Woodburning has endless possibilities when it comes to creating images, similar to drawing with pencil on paper. Woodburning, however, requires various different techniques to create texture, lines and tonal values and is a much slower process.Join Pyrography Artist Heather Martin of FireWork Designs to begin or expand your knowledge of woodburning while you create your own usable, giftable cherry charcuterie board.Heather will guide you through various woodburning techniques to incorporate texture and interest to your piece. The pyrography classesHeather teaches are perfect for beginners or seasoned pyrographystudents that are ready to bring their art to the next level.From the lines and patterns naturally in the wood to the slowimmersive process of woodburning. Heather is drawn to the extensivedepth and texture attainable with the medium that is almostsculptural. Heather completed her Bachelor&#x27;s of Arts at University ofToronto and Sheridan Institute in Art and Art History. Shespecialized in Sculpture, Print Media and Photography. Theaccumulation of her interests are quite apparent in her work. Herburnings are available in a variety of forms from wall art &amp; portraitsto usable household items like charcuterie boards, spoons, ornamentsand more. Her burnings are available at Local Pieces Gallery inFergus.
