Landscape Workshops + Landscape Painting at COWEN FARM Dates: September 17 and 18th, 2022 (Saturday and Sunday) Address: COWEN FARM, 2333 NY-97, Pond Eddy, NY 12770 Beginners and seasoned painters are welcome to register for half-day workshops on Saturday or Sunday mornings or uninstructed painting on the grounds at Cowen Farm each day. This historically intact property, managed by the NPS/UDE, dates from the D&amp;H Canal Era and features a restored barn, canal wall embankments, farmhouse supply store and apple orchard stretches along the banks of the scenic Delaware River, with views that just might make you feel circa 1838.  . .  REGISTER: Limited to 10 persons each session (limited parking)<ul><li>SATURDAY Workshop, 9:30 AM to NOON;  Landscape Basics: Beginner/Intermediate Levels</li><li>SUNDAY Workshop, 9:30 AM to NOON;  Landscape Basics: Beginner/Intermediate Levels </li></ul><ul><li>SATURDAY, 9:30 AM to NOON or 1PM–4PM,  Landscape Painting (All Levels, Uninstructed)</li><li>SUNDAY, 9:30 AM to NOON or 1PM–4PM,  Landscape Painting (All Levels, Uninstructed) </li></ul>WORKSHOPS: Participants are encouraged to work in the medium of their choice and will receive one-on-one, personalized instruction when we will focus on foundations of Plein Air painting — composition, color and value. The importance of loose thumbnail sketches, previously presented in &quot;The Landscape Sketch Workshops&quot; at CFFCM and SUNY/Online will be revisited as a useful warmup tool before embarking on a painting.SUPPLIES: Bring medium of your choice plus a substrate (8 x10 or 12 x 14 panel, canvas or mounted paper canvas paper), easel, sketchbook and pencils.
