Medicine Wheel 12 Step Red Road Workshop

LUTEA is an organization that offers cultural education and wellness by operating weekly support groups and fellowship programs and events that are lead and facilitated by culture bearers and Elders to establish recognition and respect towards Indigenous culture and knowledge.

We will begin our annual Medicine Wheel 12 Step workshop on Sunday, September 25, 2022 at 6:00 PM. We meet weekly every Sunday evening online. This workshop lasts for approximately 6 months. It addresses and supports a healing journey for all who are working through (addictions, character defect concerns and balance towards mental health wellness), through &quot;wellbriety&quot; Indigenous cultural perspectives. LUTEA&#x27;s facilitation is an Indigenous traditional and culturally based methodological foundation for wellness and healing.Facilitators are husband and wife:D﻿iveena Marcus, Ph.D. Indigenous Studies and Elder from the Coast Miwok and Southern Pomo community. She is the founder of LUTEA. Dr. Marcus is certified through White Bison has been facilitating wellness and support programs for 7 years through the Mending Broken Hearts, Survivors of Homicide and the Medicine Wheel workshops. M﻿arcus Hayduk is specifically certified through the Medicine Wheel program and has been in sobriety and supporting the movement for over 30 years.
