Would you enjoy greater awareness of what is true for you by listening to the wisdom of your body? Would you like to have greater access to what your body has to say?Embodying wisdom can bring clarity and awareness to your thoughts and feelings which can help your intention setting and create a deeper and more effective psychedelic journey. This class will take you on a body-centered experiential journey through the 4 steps (stimulus, feelings, needs and requests) of NVC (nonviolent communication as taught by Marshall Rosenberg) The focus will be on awareness of how your feelings and needs live in your body. This workshop is led by NVC Practitioner Brenda Laue and Integration Facilitator/Compassionate Inquiry Practitioner Paul Antico.BIOS:Brenda Laue, D.C., is a licensed Doctor of Chiropractic who has been in private practice for over 20 years. She has studied NVC (NonViolent Communication) since 2008 and attended trainings with Marshall Rosenberg (founder of NVC), John Kinyon, Robert Gonzales and many others as well as starting an ongoing NVC practice group in 2011. This year she attended an intensive 9 day NVC IIT training. In 2013, she completed a 500 hour advanced yoga teacher training. In 2020 she started studying Authentic Relating and finished a week long Level 3 program in 2021. She loves movement, especially dance. She is working on certification as a Trauma Informed Transformational Life Coach and loves connecting with and teaching others using humor and movement.Paul Antico is the Managing Director of Los Angeles based PsychedeLiA Integration, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2016. He is trained as a Certified Compassionate Inquiry Practitioner, Dr. Gabor Maté’s elegant and insightful approach to healing that fully supports plant medicine work. Paul is also trained as a Psychedelic Somatic Interactional Therapist, a powerful body centered trauma release modality from the Psychedelic Somatic Institute. He also provides Dr. Stephen Porges Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP), a practical bottom-up approach to help people regulate their nervous system more consistently and independently. The entrance is on Santa Monica Blvd. There is limited parking in a small lot off of Western. There may be a parking fee at this lot. Otherwise there is street parking.
