CKF Indiana State of Coverage Virtual Policy Summit

CKF-IN is a statewide non-profit organization with the vision that all Hoosiers have accessible healthcare coverage and care.  Our mission is to promote and facilitate healthcare coverage by supporting professional that enroll, educate, and support Hoosiers with coverage. CKF-IN has collaborative and contractual relationships with 18 not-for-profit agencies throughout the state.  Each agency employs Indiana Department of Insurance (IDOI) Certified Navigators who perform outreach and enrollment into Indiana Health Coverage Programs (IHCP) and the FFE/Marketplace. CKF-IN employs an additional five Navigators to lend exposure in areas of the State where needed.  With a presence in all 92 Indiana counties, CKF Navigators assist anyone who is uninsured with virtual or in person assistance.Learn more atwww.ckfindiana.org.

Covering Kids & Families of Indiana proudly hosts its 4th annual policy summit "Innovations in Eligibility and Enrollment"

The State of Coverage Policy Summit is an annual event focusing on recent legislation, key public policies and emerging issues impacting the health coverage and healthcare environment.Innovations in Eligibility and Enrollment will be the focus of this year&#x27;s summit, featuring experts examining new, novel and emerging approaches to improve enrollment in programs like Medicaid, CHIP and HIP. The impact of systemic and process barriers on health equity will also be examined, as well as the role of such programs in reducing disparities.With the generous support of the Indiana University School of Social Work, 2.0 CEUs will be available for attendees licensed by the Indiana Behavioral Health and Human Services Board.Summit Keynote Speaker:Jennifer Wagner serves as Director of Medicaid Eligibility and Enrollment with the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities (CBPP). She focuses primarily on Medicaid eligibility and enrollment issues including the policy, operations, and technology that affects the enrollment experience for clients and staff. She also coordinates with SNAP and TANF staff to analyze opportunities to improve access and advance coordination with Medicaid.Before joining the Center, Wagner served for five years as an Associate Director with the Illinois Department of Human Services. In that capacity, she oversaw SNAP and cash assistance policy as well as the local offices throughout the state that determined eligibility for cash, SNAP, and medical assistance. She assisted Illinois with Medicaid expansion under the ACA and improved customer service through business process re-engineering in the local offices.
