Ashkenazis the East Bay's home to world music & dance... established 1973; nonprofit since 1997. We are always all ages! Kids 12 & under are admitted free unless otherwise noted.All of our online ticket sales are will call.We will have a list of ticket buyers at the door; you do not need to bring a printout of your ticket/order confirmation.Doors open 30 minutes before showtime, or 30 minutes before the dance lesson if there is one, unless otherwise noted.Ashkenaz's Café opens when doors open and offers beer (draft and bottled), wine, kombucha, juices, sodas, coffee and tea, and snacks and light meals (all vegetarian, mostly organic).

Led by the best artists in the Bay Area, a revolving cast of incredibly talented musicians grace the stage each week, drawing from the Grateful Dead’s vast catalog to delight Deadheads and dancers of all generations. <a href="https://scottguberman.com/home" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Scott Guberm</a>Scott Guberman will be performing alongside Prairie Prince, Zach Nugent, Alex Jordan, and Murph Murphy for this edition of Ashkenaz&#x27;s Grateful Dead Night!Scott Guberman performs regularly with Grateful Dead&#x27;s founding bassist, Phil Lesh.He has become an outstandingly important member of the Bay Area music scene in between his shows with Phil Lesh, appearing most often at Terrapin Crossroads. In addition to this, Guberman can be found touring the national circuit joining up with just about every professional level Grateful Dead project out there.Scott Guberman’s history finds him breaking into the Grateful Dead scene at the turn of the millennium. He first gained recognition as a Hammond organist performing heavily with Rock &amp; Roll Hall of Famer and former Grateful Dead keyboardist, Tom Constanten; and touring with Grateful Dead’s final keyboardist, Vince Welnick.
