ANNOUNCING! The Reunion of the Coolest Class EVAH!

Picture this, if you will: In this Vale of Peace and Quiet, (sing it!) an event for us grown-ups, who once roamed the hallowed halls and gardens of the Academy with teenage angst, dubious fashion choices and credulous simplicity, and who now, after 40 years come together to share tales of awkward moments, unforgettable pranks, and the triumphs and tribulations of adulting.

It’s time to raise our glasses to the Class of 1984, and reminisce about the legends and lore of The Academy, where memories of funny school days will be our guide, reuniting us through laughter and reminding us that no matter where life has taken us, our ability to find humor in the most unexpected places remains a cherished bond and the thread that continues to weave our hearts together.
The last 40 years have zinged by, and although we may have aged outwardly, 40 years of managing to stay 18 in our hearts deserves a right memorable PARTAY!

We would be so honored to have our amazing classmates meet together, the first weekend in July,(the 5th through the 7th) at, well, the Crick! This old Hometown where we grew up, went to school, ran barefoot on the dirt roads, made forever friends, and learned about life...the place that forged who we are today. They say you can't go home again. I say, lets give it hell tryin!

What is the Cost per person for the weekend?

We are looking at $250/person. If you bring your plus one, it would be $400 for both of you. Math. However, If you feel to toss more than that into the pot, Ruth will not cry. If you have more than 1 plus 1, well, then, hull yah! You're in the right town, aintcha? But you git what I'm sayin.

How can I pay?

Please pay Ruth via cashapp, $Ruthwilli or cash is good too. =)

Is there going to be places to stay?

Yes, there are a few rooms available to rent at the Hacienda, see Ruth for details. plus, there are several Air B&Bs in town. Also there may be some homes of those with guest rooms available.

Do I have to come to every event?

Yes. You will be graded on your attendance and your participation. It's been 40 years, muh kids! You cannot possibly miss out on the hilarity for even 1 moment. Well, ok. Bathroom breaks are allowed. Butt. Get your hands washed and get back out to the party ASAP.

Who do I direct my questions to?

Do I have to leave on Sunday?

No, you can stay as long as you want, but everything you do after Sunday will be up to you. Let me know if you will be having more fun though. Also, We will not be able to post bail, etc.

I live here in town. Do I have to stay at my house during the reunion time?

That is something you will have to work out with those who rented rooms, or you can just rent yourself a room for the fun of it. Fun-having is the focus, and we might have to bunk up for the stay up all night party.... Oh for hells sake! that's not what I meant! You kids settle down!

One more question: What are we wearing?

Just know this: The meet n greet is wine and charcuterie, relaxed and cool mood. I recommend classy casual. The brunch is casual, the cocktail and dinner is, uuuh, cocktail and dinner. You can certainly loosen your tie or take off your girdle as the night goes on and the drinks get stronger.

also, Will there be any arrests at the event?

No, not likely. There is an entirely new set of law enforcement in town, none of whom are FLDS, but the new crew are just as zealous about their devotion to law and order, and there is a noise ordinance now. I think 11 pm is when we have to turn down Sweet Caroline. (Buh buh buh) or move indoors.
