During this session participants will hear a unique perspective of MSIP and its role in the creation of novel healthcare technologies.

Come hear Erik Lium, PhD, President of <a href="https://ip.mountsinai.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Mount Sinai Innovation Partners</a> (MSIP) and Chief Commercial Innovation Officer of the <a href="https://www.mountsinai.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Mount Sinai Health System</a> in a fireside chat, moderated by Cynthia Cleto, MS, Senior Director of Outreach and Entrepreneurship at MSIP. During this session participants will hear a unique perspective of MSIP and its role in the creation of novel technologies to solve major healthcare problems. Possible topics that may be covered, will include:•	Perspectives on the future of emerging technologies•	Lessons from the COVID-19 pandemic•	Startups•	Varying commercialization strategies to market The speakers will also talk about their professional path to MSIP and other commercial or entrepreneurial activities they have been involved in.
