Sweet Magic: a workshop + event space by Seagrape

In order to transform, we need a container and structure to hold us as we dissolve and reform into new shape. As we make our way towards the Winter Solstice, we are invited to turn inward to tend to our chrysalis. In this workshop and ritual, we will explore ways to ground into ourselves, fortify our energetic boundaries and containers, and move through thresholds into an experience of transformation. This 2-hour workshop will consist of a lecture on transformation magic, as well as an experiential, guided ritual as we tend to and metamorphosize our protective energetic chrysalis. Kiki will offer both sound and song during this community ritual space, and you&#x27;re encouraged to wear loose clothing and bring anything you need to feel comfortable! Please bring:<ul><li>Journal and pen for note-taking</li><li>Symbol or object that symbolizes transformation to you</li><li>Biodegradable offering for the community altar (flowers, food, herbs, etc.)</li><li>Yoga mat or blanket to lie down on (optional)</li></ul>——————————NOTE:This is an in-person only workshop, and will not be recorded. To keep our community safe, live attendance to this offering is limited to 20 people. Please bring your vaccination card with you to class—we will be checking them at the door. Please also bring a mask with you! You will be asked to wear your mask throughout class.If you&#x27;re experiencing any Covid symptoms prior to the gathering, please do not attend the gathering. Email us at events@seagrapeapothecary.com_________________________About the Instructor:Kiki Robinson AKA Opulent Witch (they/them)Kiki is a multi-media artist, dancer, healing arts practitioner and co-creator of The Living Altar Oracle Deck along with Ylva Mara Radziszewski. They are a queer and non-binary practicing witch of traditional magic, whose altar is centered in sovereignty, justice and compassion. Their first love of magic came through art of many mediums including printmaking, dance and performance art, and their intention is to embody healing and magic through the Creative Spirit. Kiki’s ancestral background is Irish, British Isles, and Romani and currently live on unceded Chinook land, now known as Portland, OR.
