<p>Funds from this event will be used to support the care and maintenance of horses for equine assisted therapy. Equine Assisted Therapy (EAT) is an effective tool in supporting a child's developmental goals. EAT uses the movement of horses to develop strength, balance and coordination for gross and fine motor, as well as speech skills. EAT also has a positive effect on integrating sensory skills, as well as behavior through the relationship with the horse. </p>
