What is quantum physics? How do the rules of a subatomic realm form the foundation of reality? Join Thomas Minahan in a series of lectures that will follow the theoretical and experimental development of quantum physics and the quantum nature of matter and energy. Whether you are formally trained in science, or someone simply filled with curiosity about the universe, this series will explore the interactions of matter and energy in our universe. No hard equations! – Just challenging concepts to consider. Each lecture is roughly 3 hours long with a break for refreshments partway through. Registration is free and participants may attend in person or on zoom. While each lesson will build on concepts from previous lectures, the lessons are designed to welcome newcomers at any time.
