Join The Cambridge Youth Steel Orchestra, TEMPO &  Culture Dance Group at Starlight Square!

The Cambridge Youth Steel Orchestra is a steel pan (drum) group comprised of youth and parents. They Learn the history of the instrument, how they are made, and the fundamentals of music performance and arranging and leadership skills. They play music in traditional Calypso style and incorporate modern arrangements in performances throughout the year. TEMPO is a group of percussionists primarily from the island nation of Trinidad and Tobago West Indies. They specialize in Caribbean Afro Rhythms with spoken words messages of peace and unity. They promote mutual respect through music and cross-cultural communications.Step into Culture Dance Group will also perform original choreography by Wilma Clouden.For more information visit: http://temporhythm.com/
