Introduction to BeekeepingInstructor: Charles DeBarber of Filbert Street GardenDescription: This 1.5-hour course covers the basic equipment/tools of beekeeping, inspecting hives, harvesting, and honeybee biology. Half will be lecture in our outdoor classroom and half will be in our beeyard. Bee suits and veils will be provided. Participants should wear long pants and closed toed shoes.
