Come join us on October 13th, from 6:00 - 9:00 PM to celebrate Raccoonica: Adaption in a Time of Decay at The Art School at Old Church, at 561 Piermont Road, Demarest, NJ.The show is inspired by and in dialogue with the decay on a national and global level. The four artists responded various issues, like plastic refuse, robocalls, misinformation on religion, and the conventional wisdom that humans (we) are hopelessly divided are all trash that build up over time and take over our physical and mental spaces. This process began with &#x27;Turning Art into Action&#x27; class at The Art School at Old Church, taught by artist Kathryn Eddy. In this class, local artists focused on pro­cessing their positions and reactions to current local, national, and global issues in an effort to start a dialogue. Come see the gallery from Monday–Saturday: 10:00 AM–3:30 PM.
