SEPTEMBER 16 | 10pm-3am | A.i. 21+Danilo Plessow (Motor City Drum Ensemble)Danilo, a consummate DJ &amp; producer in the world of electronic music, has decades of experience lighting up dancefloors around the globe. He debuted his sound at the age of 16 internationally, quickly becoming a household name through awe-inspiring sets at Dekmantel and Berghain. Plessow’s ground-breaking series, “Raw Cuts,” provides a time-tested masterclass in house music production that leans heavily into the chord progressions and harmonic structures embedded in jazz and funk. His selection of vocal samples all across the records are handled with delicacy, melding perfectly with the percussive drive characteristic of early house and techno. Expect a night of selections that span across genres with a focus on soulful, funk-inspired house tracks. His DJ Kicks compilation can be found on most streaming services out there, and we highly recommend giving that a listen.
