This workshop is part of the Behavioral Health Leadership Development Training series funded by the NM Behavioral Health Services Division. This series includes 11 workshops. Workshops may be attended as individual sessions, however, for maximum benefit participation in the entire series is encouraged.<h1>Project Management in Practice</h1>This workshop includes a brief presentation on common project failure causes and strategies for setting up your project for success. The majority of the session is dedicated to interactive discussions, allowing ample time for questions, troubleshooting, and assistance for ongoing projects. While prior attendance at previous project management workshops is beneficial, it&#x27;s not mandatory.Tenga en cuenta: si asistirá y necesita un intérprete de español, debe registrarse una semana antes del taller.Please note: If you are attending and require a n ASL or Spanish interpreter, you must register one week prior to the workshop.Learning Objectives:<ul><li>Understand the obstacles that need to be addressed to implement the project plan </li><li>Understand how to apply tools in a project planning process</li></ul>Audience:<ul><li>Behavioral health leaders and emerging leaders including all staff who manage projects. </li><li>All experience levels welcome.</li></ul>CEUs: 1.5 CEU hours are available for this workshop. Jackson of ENVIVE Solutions.Laurie Kerr, PMP: Sr. Project Manager, Advisor, Partner, and Co-Founder of ENVIVE Solutions, LLC. Laurie Kerr is a certified Project Management Professional with experience successfully leading a wide range of complex projects - from IT projects to substance use treatment program implementation to creating new departments for a major healthcare system. She has experience in a variety of industries including more than 10 years in healthcare. Besides leading projects, she loves to mentor others on the tools and value of project management. Previously, she owned her own business as a professional organizer specializing in helping business owners be more organized and efficient. She is known for having a steady hand in difficult situations and for her excellent interpersonal skills with all levels of staff. Project owners know she is someone they can rely on to get projects done.Lisa K. Jackson, MA, LPCC, MPH: Sr. Clinical Advisor, Managing Partner, and Co-Founder of ENVIVE Solutions, LLC. Lisa K. Jackson, a master’s level clinical counselor (LPCC), earned her Master’s in Public Health and is a certified Strategic Planning Facilitator. Lisa is a former Administrative Program Director and Clinical Director and has successfully led the development and implementation of numerous clinical and non-clinical programs, interventions, and projects. She has worked in community behavioral health and health insurance since 2003 and is known for her collaborative leadership style and effective working relationships with leaders, state government and stakeholders across a wide range of disciplines. Lisa is a dot connector who enjoys facilitating and big picture thinking.
