Judith Joyce, PWS brings over 25 years of experience in managing environmental projects. She is a certified Professional Wetland Scientist specializing in watershed planning, stream assessments, plant identification, and hydrological studies throughout the Midwest. This webinar will focus on a landscape designer’s role in helping manage stormwater from a subdivision to a regional scale. We’ll learn how a blend of traditional and “green” infrastructure creates a network of stormwater management, and how our designs play into the aim of reducing runoff and flash flooding. Using a real-world example from the city of Coralville, Iowa, Judy will prepare designers to better treat and manage storm water. 1 APLD CEUWebinar will be recorded and available for a limited time to registered participants.
