(This is a Hybrid Event - in-person and virtual, you let us know at registration)Suzanne Sumner, Erin Davis and Brandon Dobyns of Taft Law’s Government Contracts group will be providing a complimentary collider on bid protests, requests for equitable adjustment, and claims. Most businesses competing for government contracts know, at some point, they will be involved in the bid protest. Whether you won the contract and someone challenges that award or you lost a contract and decide to challenge the award, the result is the same – a bid protest. This collider will cover the basics of bid protests and the protest process. Things like, what can be protested, when to file, where to file, how long the process takes, and what are the possible outcomes? This collider will also cover the basics of filing requests for equitable adjustment (REAs) and claims. Topics to be covered include the difference between an REA and a claim, the REA/claim process, contractor considerations when deciding which to pursue, and negotiating and settling an REA or Claim.SB Hub Note: The Dayton region and Wright Patterson Air Force Base is very lucky to have Taft Law as a service provider for Government Contracts, you won't want to miss this Collider. You will have the opportunity to ask questions. Taft Law has done quite a few Colliders with the SB Hub and they have all been extremely informative.There will be an optional Networking event after the Collider at The Dayton Beer Company which is just a short walk from WBI - 444.
