About this event

Does screencasting have you stumped? Don’t worry. With current (and free) technology like OBS Studio, creating high-quality screen captures yourself is surprisingly easy.

Learn about OBS Studio and use features like screen capture, record from multiple sources at once (including PowerPoint, browser windows, and your webcam), and use transitions to give your video a more professional look.

Creating screen capture videos for your online course can be a great way to engage with your students, help with retention, and allow you to demonstrate procedures or concepts more fully.

Bring your laptop, download OBS Studio before the session, and have a project in mind to experiment with, and we’ll share some pro tips and tricks to help you use video to maximize your online course.

This event is part of CDL's Fall 2022 In-Person Engagement Activities. Visit https://cdl.ucf.edu/fall22/ to learn more and register for additional events that will be offered throughout the semester.

These semester-long, in-person engagement activities are only available to UCF credentialed faculty with an assigned Instructional Designer.
