We&#x27;re hosting a Chili Cook Off during our Oktoberfest event on September 16 - 18th. The competition takes place on Sunday, September 18th at Martinson Hall. Judging occurs from 12:00 - 2:00 pm and the winner will be announced at 3:00 pm. <ul><li>If you choose to participate we ask that you arrive at 11:00 am to setup. Your chili should be served in a 6 Quart crockpot, pre-cooked and ready to serve. We will provide spoons and 4 oz bowls, samples should be around 2 oz. We encourage you to bring along any garnishes that enhance the taste of your chili.</li></ul>Judges will be rewarded cash awards for 1st &amp; 2nd Place, as well as People’s Choice. The cost to enter is $25 per participant. Half of the sign up fee will go to the winners of the competition, the other half with go directly to the Driftless Historium &amp; Mount Horeb Area Historical Society.
