Longhorn Impact Entrepreneurship Social

The Global Sustainability Leadership Institute, formerly known as the Social Innovation Initiative, acts as UT-Austin’s hub on campus for innovation in social and environmental impact. The Institute is managed by The McCombs School of Business and is built in partnership with The Moody College of Communication. Our work focuses on corporate sustainability, sustainable finance, impact innovation and infrastructure, and sustainability communications. The GSLI team strives to cultivate a world where business professionals can create economic value for their organizations while shaping a circular, regenerative economy that benefits all stakeholders. We reach students and community members through experiential learning programs, courses, community events, career support, and research. Ever wonder how society can address the many challenges we face? We’ll give you a primer at our social for UT-Austin students interested in sustainability and impact entrepreneurship! The event will include food, networking with passionate fellow students, an impact entrepreneurship resource fair, and fun games with prizes. This event is organized by the Global Sustainability Leadership Institute and cohosted by the following organizations: KS WELI, HKEC, TVL, Office of Inclusive Innovation &amp; Entrepreneurship, Texas Global, and IC2.
