Welcome to our 4-week pottery wheel course! This course is designed to provide you with a more in-depth exploration of pottery and will take place once a week over the course of four weeks.
During each class, you will learn and practice various techniques for throwing clay on a wheel, such as centering, shaping, trimming, and glazing. Our experienced instructors will provide hands-on instruction and personalized feedback to help you improve your skills and create beautiful pieces of pottery.
Throughout the course, you will have the opportunity to experiment with different shapes, sizes, and styles of pottery, and to develop your own unique artistic style. You will also learn about the properties of different types of clay and how to choose the right materials for your projects.
By the end of the course, you will have completed several finished pieces of pottery, which you can take home with you to enjoy and display. CLASS 1 : Centering clay on the wheel
CLASS 2 : Throwing ( shapes desired )
CLASS 3 : Trimming and attaching.
CLASS 4 : Glazing and deco
Includes: (4) 3 hour classes + class clay + unlimited studio time ( 6 weeks) + firing fees and studio glazes (6 weeks )+ 25 lbs of practice clay
*Class meets wednesdays from 6 to 9 pm OR Saturdays 10 am to 1pm.
