Ready to learn how to play your favorite songs with just four chords? This 4-week beginner guitar course is designed to teach you the essentials using simple chords and the power of a capo. In just four sessions, you’ll learn the four basic chords that form the foundation of countless popular songs. You’ll also discover how the capo can help you play in different keys and add variety to your music. Whether you’ve never touched a guitar or you’re a beginner looking to level up, this class will give you the tools to start playing with confidence.

Classes are on August 5, 12, 19, 26. All run from 6:00-6:45pm.

What are the class dates?

Classes will run for 4 weeks. Buying this ticket entitles you admission to all four dates. Each date will include a different lesson. August 5, 12, 19, 26.

Is previous experience required?

No! This is a beginner-level course, so no prior guitar experience is necessary. If you’re just starting out, this class is perfect for you.

What should participants bring?

Please bring your own guitar, a capo (if you have one), and a notebook for taking notes. If you don’t have a capo, you can purchase one at the start of class.

When and where will the class be?

Pontones Music, 2903 Columbus Street, Grove City, OH, in the group lesson room.

Are instruments provided?

No, participants must bring their own guitar and capo. However, if you don’t have a capo, you can buy one before class.

What if I bought tickets but cannot attend?

If you’re unable to attend, please let us know as soon as possible. Tickets are non-refundable, but we can transfer your spot to another participant or reschedule if there’s availability in future classes.

What age groups can participate?

This class is open to anyone ages 12 and up.
