About this event

Emotional, gut-wrenching, but still incredibly hopeful, National Park Radio’s music reverberates important themes about life, love, and difficult choices, all while echoing the enduring beauty of the band’s deep-seated roots in the Ozark Mountains. With an impressive and consistently growing grassroots fanbase across the U.S. (and the world), husband and wife duo Stefan & Kerrie Szabo have made a name for themselves over the past several years with their beautiful harmonies, incredibly inspiring and relatable songwriting, and their unique and energetic live shows. Join us on the lawn, under the big pine trees, at the Big Rock Candy Mountain Retreat, Jadwin, Mo. for an evening of music.

Frequently asked questions

Can I purchase a ticket at the gate?

There is a limited number of tickets for the 6pm National Park Radio concert. We recommend advance purchase of tickets and cannot guarantee any tickets will be available at the gate the evening of the concert.

Can I bring in an outside cooler to the concert?

No outside coolers allowed on the grounds.

Is the concert venue ADA compliant?

Yes. The facility at Big Rock Candy Mountain is completely ADA compliant.

Is it open or reserve seating?

It is open seating on the lawn in front of the Big Rock Candy Mountain Stage. Please bring your own seating with you for your comfort: lawn chairs or a blanket. Also, an umbrella in case of rain, and bug spray is advised.

What is the distance from the parking area to the concert area? Is there a lot of walking involved?

For those with mobility needs, please tell the ticket takers at the gate you would like assistance from the parking to the concert grounds. It is not a far walk at all, but the Ozark terrain can be rocky and the ground uneven. We will assist you with a golf cart to get you safely to seating area.

Will there be food available for purchase?

Yes. The Big Chill Bar and Grill at Big Rock Candy Mountain will be serving. Please come early to avoid the rush in the sit down restaurant. The Akers Cemetery Association will also be grilling hamburgers and hotdogs outside. There will also be sweets and a coffee truck available.

What time does the gate open to get into the concert grounds?

The ticket gate for entry to the concert grounds will open at 4:30. Wristbands will be given at the gate and required for all concert attendees.
