In this workshop you will learn how to use our printers to take your wildest creations to 3D objects! Every attendee will leave with a 3D print of their own! With this workshop you will earn an authorization to use the machines. By getting an authorization you may use the machines at any time during our open hours at either location when machines are available. Not sure what 3D Printing is? Frequently asked questions

How long will this workshop last and what are we doing?

On average this workshop takes an hour to teach. We will go over the software needed for prepping the models and printing. We do not teach how to make your own 3D models.

Do I have to bring my own materials?

No, we provide everything here for free! In return we ask that you be respectful of other patrons and clean up after yourself. If you are printing in excess, a staff member may ask you to start bringing your own filament(rare). We will approach you if the situation arises.

Wait! What if I forget something after this workshop?

Don't worry! When attempting to print on your own don't be afraid to ask a staff member for guidance when you get stuck. We are here to help answer any questions, just let us know you've received your authorization but need some assistance.

What if I am not part of the DePaul community?

Unfortunatly all IRL workshops are only available to DePaul staff, falculty, students and alumni.
