School of Visual Arts Continuing Education

Explore the world of 3D Modeling and Printing in this 2-hour workshop. Chester Dols, Director of the Visible Futures Lab, will demonstrate the use of a 3D scanner for acquiring data and will lead attendees through a simple exercise to introduce them to Rhino 3D modeling. In the exercise, attendees will model a simple object that will be 3D printed. A deeper demonstration on the ins and outs 3D will be shared while waiting for the models to print.
