​We firmly believe that encouragement and early education in STEM is an ideal platform to develop a girl’s communication, collaboration, creativity, and critical-thinking abilities, which are important in building an informed and balanced society.  These abilities can help girls -whether or not they pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and math– acquire skills to confront real-world problems, examine issues, and apply knowledge to search for solutions.​All Girls STEM Society, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, strives to inspire and excite girls to begin to pursue STEM, through various free events and workshops that involve STEM projects in a fun and hands-on environment.

Mission Valley Public Library

Have you ever wondered how characters are animated? Wanted to make your own video game? Come join us at our Scratch Programming workshop! Get excited for an afternoon learning all about computer science, while eating cookies and winning cute prizes. Enjoy tackling various programming challenges with Scratch, learning about debugging, and even creating your very own game! No programming experience required, and laptops will be provided to participants who don’t have one. For girls in grades 3-5.
