Dogfest is BHS's annual celebration of dogs and their people. Enjoy a pet-centric day full of activities, contests, shopping, food, and fun!

The Baltimore Humane Society is excited to announce Dogfest on October 15 from 11am-4pm.Dogfest is our largest fundraiser and community event and takes place on our 365-acre property at 1601 Nicodemus Road, Reisterstown, MD 21136. We expect to have 3,000 animal lovers in attendance for this pet-centric day full of games, contests, food and fun.Dogs will be able to play games with their people or watch as other pups partake in the fun! There will be plenty of activities for the pups, including Simon Says, 20 yard dash, bubble chase, paw painting and fun in the sand. There will be opportunities to try out an agility or lure course, a lure course! Plus, we&#x27;ll have some doggie demos like Oriole Dog Flyball and the Dept. of Corrections K-9s! We&#x27;ll have contests and prizes for: Best Halloween Costume, Best Kisser, Best Dancer, Best Owner/Pet Look-alike, Catch the Treat, Musical Sit and Best Pet Trick.There will be pet themed arts &amp; crafts, face painting, and a bounce house to engage the kids, pet rescue groups with adoptable animals and loads of vendors and food trucks.NEW THIS YEAR: Trunk or Treat for both kids and pets!Rain date: Sunday, October 16 from 11am-4pm.
