Writing Motherhood

Writing Motherhood is a class for writers of all levels who are interested in preserving and processing their experiences as mothers through writing.

Saturday, September 3rd8:00pm - 9:30pm doors at 7:30pm$10Drinks will be available for saleJoin us as we explore what happens when mythos and oral tradition go wrong. Photographer and documentarian Jon Tonks is accompanied by a troupe of Chicago improvisers in an attempt to unpack his experience documenting the lasting effects of empire on the people of Vanuatu. Through standup, music, storytelling, improvisation, and fine art photography we’ll question the lengths we all go to in pursuit of our own crowns.Comedians: Rudy Mendoza, Mila Rao, Ryan Haynes, Jane Brown, Dylan Doetch, Tim Felton*WORKSHOPS: Mila Rao &amp; Rudy Mendoza will be hosting a two hour intensive workshop on Saturday from 3-5pm.
