Since then, DENIMCRATIC has expanded into knitwear and other mediums, but continues to create pieces with ingenuity, and a quirky, yet provocative perspective.As a contributor to the denim industry, we make it our brand mission to eliminate as much waste and carbon footprint as possible. With this notion, we have chosen to keep our production local in LA, often on a made-to-order basis.

From making jewelry dishes to incense holders, she thought, what else can she make with clay? This was the moment that everything changed. Clay earrings changed her world. She set up shop and got to work. It has been a rollercoaster ride that I don’t want to get off of. Her goal is for you to feel empowered and wear what YOU want to wear. Panelist | Jules GreeneisenJules Greeneisen is a Bushwick, Brooklyn based jewelry designer and founder of Gather Brooklyn. As an advocate for sustainability, her mission is to reduce waste through smaller supply chains and circularity. With a background in fast fashion manufacturing, she works directly with makers to clean up their practices and produce low waste demi fine jewelry. She is also Design Director for Ordinary Kids, a gives-back jewelry brand launched in 2022, as well as a member of Made in NYC and the Accessories Council.

Patrick Metellus | Panelist Patrick Metellus is a New York based entrepreneur that launched clothing and textile collection service SCRAPNYC in 2020 in an effort to divert unwanted clothing from landfills. Patrick was born and raised in Rockland County, NY but has called the Riverdale section of the Bronx home since graduating from Fordham University with a BA in Urban Studies. Patrick has worked for over 20 years in the field of Real Estate Development and Property Management helping to create and preserve affordable housing in the Bronx and more recently Manhattan. In his free time he enjoys, cooking , hot yoga, martial arts and most importantly spending time with his wife Paloma Del Aguila.

Stuart Ahlum | Panelist Stuart Ahlum is the Co-Founder &amp; COO of Thousand Fell and SuperCircle. Thousand Fell is a circular DTC sneaker brand, championing the circular economy and ending textile waste with a fully recyclable line of sneakers. Since the founding of Thousand Fell, Chloe and Stuart launched SuperCircle—the circularity platform for the next generation, designed to redefine how millions of garments will be disposed of over the next 10 years. Through its tech platform and reverse logistics system, SuperCircle links retail with the waste management industry to close the loop and eliminate post-consumer clothing waste.
