Crocker, Volunteer, Silicon Valley Chapter, Information &amp; Planning Coordinator, American Red Cross, principal with Brandenburg InternetWorking, and Senior Member of IEEE, Paul Shmotolokha, CEO &amp; Chairman of the Board, New Use Energy Solutions (NUE).In conjunction with the presence of the MOVE Community Outreach truck (<a href="https://move.ieeeusa.org" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://move.ieeeusa.org</a>) at the conference, this is a panel discussion among representatives from organizations involved with emergency response and disaster recovery. Besides providing onsite services for <a href="https://move.ieeeusa.org/about/disaster-relief/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">disaster recovery</a>, MOVE also offers educational outreach regarding <a href="https://move.ieeeusa.org/about/stem-outreach/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM)</a>. The focus will be on communications, computing, and power during disaster response, but may expand from there. After a brief description of the MOVE truck, the emphasis will be on stories about what works and lessons learned. Pizza and Refreshments will be served in the Courtyard starting at 6:00 PM with your Special Event Registration badge.
