Join us to hear singer/songwriter <a href="https://hobocane.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Javier Mendoza, known by the moniker Hobo Cane,</a> perform modern pop originals, sung in both English and Espanol. Pure heart and soul – that’s how you can best describe Hobo Cane. Born as Javier Alberto Mendoza in the state of Virginia to a Spanish mother and Mexican/American father, Javier’s love for music burned bright from a young age. He started his musical career joining Warner-Chappell as a staff writer in Miami, FL. There, he spent his time writing tunes for mega pop sensations such as Enrique Iglesias, Juan David, Ricky Martin, Rosario and more. The ever-winding path of life took him to Saint Louis: City of Miles Davis, Tina Turner and Chuck Berry, where he saw musical success with his new following. In 2014, Mendoza moved to Music City, Nashville, TN where he is embarking on a project as Hobo Cane, but he&#x27;s back in St. Louis to perform on 9/17!Tickets are $30 each, which includes two free drinks, courtesy of the Chapel. This event is sponsored by Pat and Jim Bubash, with proceeds going to support families fighting breast or gynecological cancers in and around St. Louis.Pink Ribbon Girls St. Louis saw significant growth in 2021 and provided 36,390 meals, gave 3,487 rides to treatment, 295 housecleaning kits and offered 54 in-person and virtual peer support events for St. Louis families. We provided 10,000 more meals and 1,000 more rides than the previous year. Founded in the St. Louis region in 2018, we have served more than 100,000 meals in three and a half years and given more than 10,000 rides to treatment in total.
