Harlem Brewing Company presented the first ever beer festival to highlight Black and Brown Brewers  during the Harlem Brew Festival in Harlem (NYC) in 2017. It went on to support the FreshFest (now Barrel & Flow in Pittsburgh) and co-founded and priduced the inaugural Blacktober Beer Fest,  again highlighting the diversity in Beer Culture and Hospitality in the historic  City of Rocky Mount, NC. The 2021 Blacktober in the Garden (Rocky Mount, NC) was a continuation of our commitment to celebrate our collective heritage and contributions to craft beer and culinary history in America and Abroad! Farm to Fork, celebrates the  plight and possibilities for Black Farmers (95% of which are located in the South) including establishing a Community Malt initiative, a collaboration with Riverbend Malt which focuses on crop diversification and establishing grain growing initiatives. In 2022, we look forward to kicking off a series of events focused on craft, community and equity. Through collaborative events at the Harlem Brew South historic Tobacco Warehouse, we look forward to creating memorable and empowering experiences for all. Cheers!

ROCTOBERFEST celebrates the rich living history and diversity of Rocky Mount from its great people, artisans, and businesses, to renowned legends like Buck Leonard and Thelonious Monk and so much more! The Taste of Roctoberfest will kick off the weekend with a reception for makers, friends and community on Friday evening from 6-8pm, at the Belair Art Center, 115 S. Church Street, with the main Festival taking place Saturday afternoon, 12-5pm at 128 Howard Street. **MUST BE 21+ TO CONSUME ALCOHOL. IDs CHECKED!Roctoberfest features breweries, distilleries, wineries, cideries, artists, chefs, farmers, musicians and local restaurants and organizations. This years event and activities will be centered around Howard Street in the emerging Rocky Mount Downtown commercial and art district - The Center of it All. Food, Beverage, Cocktails, Live Jazz, Crafts, Film, Art and Unique Experiences will be available throughout the festival and at featured restaurants, bars, retail shops, and local galleries.
