This program will be held online.

Wounds as a result of injection drug use continue to increase in prevalence and impact the health of people who inject drugs. This program developed subsequent to August 4th's Basic of Injection Drug Use and Harm Reduction training will teach Medical providers, nurses, and healthcare professionals who provide care for people who inject drugs the basics of wound care.

  • Describe basic wound care techniques providers can use for and share with patients who inject drugs.

TARGET AUDIENCE: Medical providers (MDs, DOs, NPs, PAs, RNs), social workers and other public health professionals, including those who are part of integrated care team who provide care for people who use drugs.

A link to an online survey will be emailed to you after the training. Complete and submit the online survey. The last step of the survey will allow you to download and print the CNE certificate.
