Ashkenazis the East Bay's home to world music & dance... established 1973; nonprofit since 1997. We are always all ages! Kids 12 & under are admitted free unless otherwise noted.All of our online ticket sales are will call.We will have a list of ticket buyers at the door; you do not need to bring a printout of your ticket/order confirmation.Doors open 30 minutes before showtime, or 30 minutes before the dance lesson if there is one, unless otherwise noted.Ashkenaz's Café opens when doors open and offers beer (draft and bottled), wine, kombucha, juices, sodas, coffee and tea, and snacks and light meals (all vegetarian, mostly organic).

We&#x27;re bringing you the best of country music and dancing in the Bay Area!Dance Lesson at 7:30PM | Show at 8:00PMThe big guy from out West and larger than life energy (he’s also 6’5’) performer, guitarist, singer, banjoist, songwriter, composer, entertainer, musical historian and teacher <a href="https://www.mitchpolzak.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Mitch Polzak</a> wears his heart on his sleeve and his playing in his heart.Polzak performs rockabilly and 60’s country music with the religious fervor of Jerry Lee Lewis and Johnny Cash and delivers a Honky Tonk ballad with the sincerity of Merle Haggard and Waylon Jennings. Mitch will bring a room to a fevered pitch of joyous energy on the dance floor and then tell you a story in a song like two old friends sitting at a kitchen table at midnight. Join us for a dance lesson followed by a great night of country music and dancing -- featuring the best country artists in the Bay!
