Learn, photograph, and even help tag a Monarch butterfly on this offsite field trip to Southern Arizona, a 3-hour drive from Scottsdale. .

Butterfly Wonderland's very own Director of Education Adriane Hopkins, will lead this workshop. Join us as we learn about why we need to tag Monarch butterflies and see other Arizona species in a beautiful setting, which is a 3-hour drive south of Scottsdale, near Sonoita (Highway 83). Bring hiking boots, hat, sunscreen, long pants, water, fully charged phone/camera and a sack lunch. No prior experience necessary. Geared for adults but ages 12 and above if interest in nature. There will be 30-minute lecture. Cost is $25 per person. Portion of the proceeds benefit Southwest Monarch Study. Pre-registration is required. Space is limited.
