Join artist and filmmaker Emma Matthews and special guests to watch the widely celebrated film 'From Under the Same Skies'.

In the spring of 2022, Sleeping Radical was commissioned by Made With Many to collaborate with the fledging community of Romanian nationals currently living in Wellingborough. The result was a film called From Under the Same Skies. This film takes a peek at what happens when you move from one country to another and asks, what does it feel like to be a stranger in a strange land.On August 4th Emma, Made With Many and some of the film's collaborators will come together to watch a special online screening and discuss the themes surrounding the film. All are welcome.

Sleeping Radical is the creative vehicle for artist and storyteller Emma Matthews. Emma is a Northants based writer and filmmaker who has produced a number of community-collaborative film projects.Made With Many is a community-led arts programme which produces events and activities designed to surprise, delight and inspire. The programme aims to encourage more people than ever before to take the lead in experiencing, creating and taking part in high-quality arts and cultural activities. Through conversations with local people and community decision-making panels, Made With Many puts the community at the heart of commissioning artists and producing new and exciting events.RYG Films are an established video production company based in Northampton. RYG Films have worked with hundreds of small to medium companies; creating high quality promotional videos for websites and social media. They also specialise in collaborations with artistic organisations such as the Barbican Centre in London, creating thought-provoking, innovative performance-based video content.
