Heart & Soul Black Women's Postpartum Cardiac Group Meet-up

A support group for Black women who have experienced a pregnancy-related cardiac event or cardiovascular disease.

Please join us for a 1-hour virtual meet-up to discuss the signs and symptoms of heart disease during and following pregnancy and to share stories of survival. Guest experts include:Rachel M. Bond, MD, FACC--Board-certified attending cardiologist and the System Director of Women’s Heart Health at Dignity Health in ArizonaMcAllister Windom, MD, MPH--Board-certified pediatric cardiologist at Duke Children's Specialty Services of GreensboroSession will be co-hosted by Charity S. Watkins, PhD, MSW and Maria Small, MD, MPH
