Come to this workshop if you want an overview of Tech Careers, tools to plan your transition into a Tech job, and resources for upskilling. This workshop will:<ul><li>Give you an overview of the Tech ecosystem as well as an understanding of the categories of Tech Careers</li><li>Outline practical steps in the form of an actionable checklist tailored to you specific scenario - student or entry level or professional seeking to transition into Tech</li><li>Debunk many of the popular myths associated with venturing into a Tech Career</li><li>Layout resources available for upskilling, training, and certification</li></ul>About Sheunopa MugobogoboThis workshop will be led by Sheunopa Mugobogobo, a Technology Consultant at Accenture and 3x Certified Agile professional. Dedicated to demystifying Tech, Sheunopa brings her years of experience in Tech along with her insights from being a student pursuing a Tech degree, to equip you to be better positioned for that Tech career.About The HBCU Career CenterThe HBCU Career Center was founded in 2007 for students and professionals underrepresented and left out of the expensive career management market. We educate around job search skills, workplace realities and employment equity and support the career and professional goals of students, alumni and the broad HBCU community.
