We empower kids to create a kinder community with their hearts, hands, and minds. Check back frequently, as we post new service opportunities on the 1st and 15th of each month.

Children will make music and art to brighten the days of residents at NCR Stygler Commons.

Who this in person service event is for: Ages 2-8. Adult caregivers are required to accompany child participants. Siblings of participants outside this age range are welcome, but may find the event to be less meaningful and fulfilling.What we&#x27;ll be doing: Children and families will gather outside NCR Stygler Commons Senior Center with experienced folk singer/songwriter <a href="http://www.joaniecalem.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Joanie Calem</a>, to make music to brighten the days of senior residents. Afterwards, families will be invited to create a fun craft to give to a senior. COVID-19 Protocol for In Person Events:Please review our<a href="https://docs.google.com/document/d/1H3uxVbKtDo4GedECENSkWlFdC6BcR25Hkj6iPo80960/edit?usp=sharing" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"> COVID-19 Protocol for In Person Programming</a> before registering for this event. This is an outdoor event and masks are required for everyone regardless of vaccination status. Temperature checks may be done at check-in out of an abundance of caution for our high-risk senior friends. Specific Instructions:All supplies will be provided. Please bring a mask for everyone attending and a blanket to sit on. This event is rain or shine and will move indoors if needed due to weather. Why you&#x27;ll be asked to pay a supply fee and donate:On the next page you&#x27;ll be asked to pay a fee to offset supply costs for this event. These fees are non-refundable. If you have to cancel your registration later, please know that your fee will go toward our efforts to create more meaningful service-focused programs for Columbus-area kids.Every time we&#x27;re able to design, coordinate, and offer an opportunity for kids to give back, it&#x27;s with the help of supporters like you. Please consider making a generous gift to help us continue to empower kids to create a kinder community with their hearts, hands, and minds. We never want supply fees to prevent someone from participating in a Seeds of Caring project. If you would like assistance covering your supply fees, please email programs@seedsofcaring.org and we will register you for free, no questions asked.
